Recently, Cal Fire visited the Auberry Library for a wonderful Storytime! We learned about what the firefighters at Cal Fire do to keep our forests and us safe. They talked about the fire engine and even let us sit in the driver’s seat! Thank you, Cal Fire! We had a great time! A New Clovis Library - Tell Us What You Think! What is a Library? It's a question that evokes a thousand different answers from a thousand different people. The new Clovis Library will: - More than double in size from the current Clovis Library. - Have an extensive children's area with an interactive learning wall and outdoor space. - Provide a large computer lab for current and future tech needs. - Offer meeting spaces both for small groups and audiences up to 100 people. We created this short video a few years ago and think it’s worth sharing again on this Throwback Thursday. We could have gone on for days with the rich railroad history in the Central Valley, but there are just so many hours in the day. We’ll get started with the original three (yes, three!) railroad stations in the immediate Fresno area.
