It's been a busy offseason for the Knicks. With hopes of adding depth to Brown's roster, Guershon Yabusele taking less than the mid-level exception helps the front office potentially sign a rotation player who coach Brown can lean on.

Yabusele’s deal, which can be finalized when the moratorium is lifted Sunday, is roughly two years and $12 million with a player option for the second season.

After five seasons overseas, Yabusele returned to the NBA and averaged 11.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 50.1% from the floor and 38% from deep in 70 games for the Sixers.
