Breeding bulls topped at £5750 for a two-year-old Limousin at Ballymena Mart
Thursday 19th February 2026: An entry of 250 beef cattle on Thursday continued to sell to a steady trade.
A record centre price was achieved at Dumfries as a 1190kg Limousin bull sold for £4462.50, with strong trade across beef, dairy and clean cattle.
Bulls averaged €5.77/kg in the sale with a top price per kg of €8.62 paid for the weanling bulls. Heifers averaged €6.45/kg in the sale.
