Rare Ashfall Warning issued as Mount Kilauea Volcano erupts for 43rd time, producing large lava fountains
The well-known Mount Kīlauea Volcano erupted for the 43rd time on Tuesday in Hawaii, and people in the area are being advised to take protective measures from ashfall.
The eruptions at Kilauea prompted closures at a national park and part of a highway because of falling glassy volcanic fragments, including ash.
