PHOENIX — Several lottery players in Arizona got an extra present right before Christmas Day. The Arizona Lottery said the drawings held on Dec. 23 and Christmas Eve resulted in several significant lottery wins throughout the state.

A handful of Arizona Lottery players scored big cash prizes over the holiday weekend, with five winning tickets sold around the Valley worth $20,000–$50,000. Nobody hit the big one, so the Powerball jackpot climbs to an estimated $1.

Six Arizona Lottery tickets, including a $205,000 Fantasy 5 Jackpot winner, won at least $20,000 apiece in this week's drawings.
