CLEVELAND, Ohio — Damaging winds are expected to sweep across Northeast Ohio on Friday as a powerful storm system moves through the Great Lakes. The National Weather Service has issued high wind warnings covering a large swath of the Great Lakes region,

Cloudy skies to open the day Friday along with a few light, spotty showers that will exit the area before daybreak. Then the wind arrives.

High winds are blowing across the Sunflower State on Sunday, bringing strong gusts and damage to the KSN viewing area.

At 10:18 p.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service released an updated severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 11:15 p.m. for Warren County.

Wind alerts are in place. High winds will create strong crosswinds and possible power outages. Winds should die down gradually this evening.
