Back in early June, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said that the Falcons "are open to the possibility of trading Kyle Pitts," and now that the Dolphins moved on from Jonnu Smith and traded for Darren Waller this week, Miami won't be pursuing Pitts in a trade this offseason.

Kyle Pitts is potentially on the trading block as training camp approaches. However, if the Falcons pull the trigger on a deal, it would be a huge mistake.

The proposed three-team deal would see the Falcons send tight end Kyle Pitts to the Bengals while acquiring All-Pro defensive lineman DeForest Buckner from the Colts. Indianapolis would get Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson in return.
