UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Tuesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G-20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where the two leaders discussed aspects of the relationship between both countries.

PM Narendra Modi said his discussions with Giorgia Meloni focused on strengthening ties in defence, security, trade, and technology.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (local time) held a bilateral meeting with his Italian counterpart, Giorgia Meloni, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Brazil.

PM Narendra Modi was scheduled to have bilateral meetings on Monday with heads of UK, Norway, Italy, Indonesia and Portugal in Rio on the sidelines of the ongoing G20 summit, sources said. This will be his first bilateral meeting with UK PM Keir Starmer and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
